Sharjah 24: The defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder tied the series with the San Antonio Spurs at 1-1 after a 122-113 victory in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals of the NBA playoffs.

Canadian Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the league's MVP for the second consecutive year, scored 30 points, leading his team, the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder, to a 122-113 win over the visiting San Antonio Spurs in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals of the NBA playoffs, leveling the series at 1-1.

Playing brilliantly

After scoring 24 points and dishing out 12 assists in the Thunder's opening loss to the Spurs on Monday (115-122), Gilgeous-Alexander raised his game in Game 2 with 30 points, along with 9 assists, 4 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 1 steal.

The defending champions travel to San Antonio for Games 3 and 4 on Friday and Saturday.
