Guard of honour and tribute at the martyrs’ monument

Accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of Ecuador reviewed a guard of honour that lined up to greet him, and laid flowers at the memorial in front of the martyrs’ monument.

Significance of Wahat Al Karama

President Daniel Noboa was briefed on the importance of Wahat Al Karama, which symbolises the heroism and sacrifices of UAE nationals in defending the country and safeguarding its values and achievements.

Strengthening UAE–Ecuador relations

Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan praised the growing relations between the UAE and Ecuador across various fields, guided by both nations’ leaderships to advance shared interests.

Sheikh Theyab reaffirmed that Wahat Al Karama represents the UAE leadership’s gratitude for its fallen heroes, embodying values of courage, heroism, and sacrifice that inspire future generations.
