President of Ecuador inaugurates embassy in Abu Dhabi

Sharjah 24 – WAM: President Daniel Noboa of the Republic of Ecuador Sunday inaugurated his country’s embassy in Abu Dhabi, marking a significant milestone in UAE–Ecuador relations.

The inauguration was attended by Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, Gabriela Sommerfeld, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility of Ecuador, Ibrahim Salem Al Alawi, Non-Resident Ambassador of the UAE to Ecuador, Felipe Ribadeneira Molestina, Ambassador of Ecuador to the UAE, and other officials and ambassadors from Arab and foreign states.

Strengthening bilateral ties

President Noboa highlighted the strong friendship between Ecuador and the UAE, built on trust, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to prosperity and progress for both nations.

Ecuador’s commitment to cooperation

Gabriela Sommerfeld noted that opening the embassy reflects Ecuador’s firm commitment to deepening cooperation with the UAE and expressed optimism for further advancement in the distinguished bilateral relations.
