The 54-kilometre race coincided with 54th Eid Al Etihad and featured youth and junior categories. A total of 51 cyclists from eight clubs participated, including Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Khorfakkan, Al Hamriyah, Al Nasr, Shabab Al Ahli, Mleiha, and Dibba Al-Hisn.
Sharjah Sports Club dominated the competition, with Salman Mansouri and Ma’adad Ali Al-Mashghouni securing first and third place in the overall sprint points standings. In the individual overall standings, Salman Mansouri claimed gold while Saif Al Ghawi took bronze.
Sharjah Sports Club finished first, followed by Al Nasr in second place and Abu Dhabi Club in third.
Engineer Mansour Juma Buosaiba, President of the UAE Cycling Federation, congratulated UAE leadership on the 54th Eid Al Etihad and praised Sharjah Sports Club for organising the event professionally, highlighting the high level of competition.
Engineer Suleiman Abdulrahman Al Hajri, Sharjah Sports Club Board Member and Head of Individual Games, emphasized the championship as a tribute to the Union, with the 54-kilometre distance symbolising the nation’s 54 years. He also commended the organising team and thanked the UAE Cycling Federation for its support.
