SSC marks 54th Eid Al Etihad with cycling championship in Tilal

Sharjah 24: Engineer Suleiman Abdul Rahman Al Hajri, a member of the club’s board of directors and head of the Individual Sports Department, stated that the club celebrated the 54th Eid Al Etihad by organising the Sharjah Cycling Championship in the Tilal area. The event reflected the significance of this cherished national occasion, which commemorates the UAE’s long-standing journey of progress, development, and leadership.

Celebration through sports

The Individual Sports Department at Sharjah Sports Club held the Sharjah Cycling Championship in Tilal to mark the 54th Eid Al Etihad. The event highlighted the spirit of the celebration and honoured the nation’s achievements over the years in building and advancement.

Wide participation in third edition

Engineer Suleiman Abdul Rahman Al Hajri added that the third edition of the championship saw wide participation, with 58 cyclists representing eight sports clubs from across the UAE. The competitors raced over a distance of 54 kilometres, symbolising the 54th Eid Al Etihad.
