As part of the program, the participants visited two important organisations in Jordan: the Ministry of Government Communication and the Vocational Training Corporation. They had the opportunity to meet with Dr Zaid Mohammed Al Nawaisah, the Secretary-General of the Ministry, and Dr Ahmed Al Gharabbeh, the Director-General of the Vocational Training Corporation. During the visit, they learned about the Corporation's successful efforts to modernize its training system and improve its services. This experience showcased effective leadership in action.
The purpose of these visits was to gain insights from Jordan's innovative approaches to leadership and to share knowledge about best practices in building diplomatic relations. The leaders also explored potential opportunities for international partnerships.
Abdulaziz Omar Al Madfa, the Director of Government Communication at the SEDD, highlighted that joining the Diplomatic Leadership Program reflects the department's commitment to nurturing local talent and equipping them with modern leadership skills. He emphasized the importance of adopting global best practices to enhance leadership development and strengthen partnerships at home and abroad.
