The agreement was signed by Yousef Al Zaabi, Chief Officer of the Food and Hospitality Sector at Sharjah Asset Management, and Mousa Al Shahi, Director of the Tazaj platform. The partnership aims to integrate direct sales services with advanced digital delivery solutions, enabling both entities to reach wider consumer segments and improve operational efficiency.
Commenting on the agreement, Rashid Al Hammadi, Director of the Fish Sector at Souq Al Jubail, said that the Fish Market is one of the emirate’s leading destinations for seafood enthusiasts, offering a wide variety of locally sourced and imported fish in accordance with the highest standards of quality and food safety.
He added that the market provides a modern shopping environment with advanced facilities and services that cater to visitors, traders, fishermen, and families, while also functioning as a tourist attraction where visitors can see live, fresh fish and enjoy a distinctive retail experience.
Al Hammadi emphasised that Souq Al Jubail’s strategic waterfront location and modern infrastructure have made it a key attraction for visitors to Sharjah and the UAE. The Fish and Seafood Section, along with bra nches in Al Hamriyah, Al Madam, Kalba, and Al Dhaid, operates with an advanced computerized system, the first of its kind in the UAE and the Gulf, providing hundreds of seafood varieties and specialised cleaning and cutting services in line with international health standards.
