Tahnoon bin Zayed chairs ADQ Board meeting

Sharjah 24 – WAM: His Highness Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan chaired ADQ’s fourth Board of Directors meeting of 2025, reviewing strong Q3 financial results and commending portfolio companies for advancing national priorities and economic resilience.

Key portfolio highlights

In Transport and Logistics, Etihad Airways, Abu Dhabi Airports, and AD Ports Group reported record or near-record performances, reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s role as a global connectivity hub. AD Ports Group also achieved a Guinness World Record for deploying AI agents in logistics.

Energy, manufacturing, and AI progress

TAQA reported solid growth across energy and utilities, while TA’ZIZ advanced major sustainable manufacturing projects, including a large PVC complex and a dedicated chemicals port in Al Ruwais. The board also reviewed progress in adopting agentic AI to enhance productivity and decision-making across ADQ.

Leadership and engagement

ADQ’s leadership highlighted continued focus on operational excellence, AI integration, and long-term value creation, alongside ongoing support for local and global economic initiatives such as Abu Dhabi Finance Week 2025.
