Sharjah and Al Madam crowned junior table tennis champions

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Sports Council organised a junior table tennis championship at Al Madam Cultural and Sports Club as part of its ongoing programme to develop players’ skills and team performance.

Individual competition results

In the singles competition, Khalifa Ishaq from Sharjah Sports Club claimed first place, followed by Majid Nawaf from Sharjah Club in second. Hamdan Obaid from Al Madam Club and Majid Ishaq from Sharjah Club shared third place.

Doubles competition highlights

The doubles event, held for the first time, ended with a shared title between Al Madam Club (Hamdan Al Ketbi and Mohammed Khalifa) and Sharjah Club (Majid Nawaf and Khalifa Ishaq).

Participants and supervision

The championship featured 24 players from four clubs: Al Madam, Sharjah, Al Dhaid, and Al Bataeh. The winners were crowned by Suhail Mubarak, Secretary of Al Madam Club, and Hudhaifa Al Kindi, Head of the Talent Development and Care Division at the Council's Sports Affairs and Development Department. The event was supervised by Samir George, the department’s table tennis specialist.
