UAE field hospital continues operations in Gaza

Sharjah 24 – WAM: The UAE field hospital in the Gaza Strip continues to provide medical and humanitarian services as part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, supporting the local health system and strengthening its ability to address ongoing humanitarian challenges.

Comprehensive medical care

The hospital continues to receive patients and deliver a wide range of healthcare services, including medical examinations, treatments, and surgeries, as part of the UAE’s efforts to ease the suffering of Gaza’s residents and ensure the continuity of health services.

Visits by international delegations

Delegations from the World Health Organisation and the Palestinian Red Crescent Society visited the hospital to review the quality of services and operational mechanisms across its departments.

Praise for UAE humanitarian efforts

The Palestinian Red Crescent commended the UAE’s humanitarian role and the dedication of its medical and relief teams, highlighting their contribution to treating the injured and the sick.

Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 achievements

The ongoing cooperation between the UAE and international organisations under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 has resulted in the delivery of around 10,000 tonnes of medical aid, medicines, and supplies. The field hospital has treated more than 52,000 cases, carried out 1,843 surgeries, and fitted prosthetic limbs for 61 injured patients.
