Sharjah24: His Excellency Rashid Abdullah Al Muhyan, Chairman of the Parents’ Council in the Central Region, affiliated with the Districts Affairs Department, stated that the Council hosted on Tuesday the event Why do our children face challenges while learning? as part of the national awareness campaign on learning difficulties and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The event aimed to raise awareness of learning difficulties, shed light on the daily challenges faced by students with learning difficulties, and present practical solutions. It included an awareness lecture, educational and behavioural consultations, as well as a learning difficulties simulation lab.
In statements to Sharjah 24, Al Muhyan emphasised the Council’s keenness to cooperate with various institutions and government entities to serve students, develop the educational system, support efforts to raise students’ standards, and put solutions in place to overcome the challenges they face. He noted that, for the first time, the Council collaborated with the Sharjah Learning Difficulties Centre to organise this event, which forms part of the national awareness campaign on learning difficulties.
