The camp featured a French delegation of 22 female athletes aged 12 to 16, alongside a highly qualified technical staff, including Olympic champion and high-performance coach Arab Ben Boudaoud. More than 55 players from the Sharjah and Kalba Women’s Sports Clubs also took part in the joint programme, creating a rich and competitive training environment across different age groups, weight categories and technical levels.
The total training load exceeded 24 hours, combining specialised judo sessions with physical preparation programmes. Training focused on strengthening judo fundamentals through technical mat work and applied sparring, while physical sessions targeted general endurance, coordination, and adaptation to training intensity. The camp also addressed mental resilience, discipline, healthy lifestyle habits, and the importance of recovery and rest as essential elements of long-term athlete development.
