Egypt beats Ivory Coast 3-2 to reach AFCON semi-finals

The Egyptian national team defeated Ivory Coast 3-2 on Saturday at the Adrar Stadium in Agadir, Morocco, to reach the semi-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations.

Salah seals Egypt win

Egypt opened the scoring through Omar Marmoush in the 4th minute, and Ramy Rabia added a second with a header in the 32nd minute. Ivory Coast pulled one back with an own goal from Egypt's Ahmed Fatouh in the 40th minute. Mohamed Salah then scored Egypt's third in the 51st minute, and Guila Doue scored a second for Ivory Coast in the 73rd minute.

Egypt will face Senegal in the next round.
