Africa Cup of Nations: Egypt become 1st team to reach Round of 16

Mohamed Salah scored the winning goal for Egypt in the 45th minute from a penalty that he himself earned.

The match also saw Egypt defender Mohamed Hany sent off after receiving a second yellow card.

With the win, Egypt moved to the top of the group with six points. Elsewhere in the group, Angola and Zimbabwe drew 1–1 at the Grand Stade de Marrakech, earning their first point, while South Africa remain on three points.
