Al Mansour hails Sharjah Ruler’s support at Arab Theatre Festival

Sharjah 24: The Kuwaiti artist Mohammed Al Mansour expressed his gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for his patronage of the Arab Theatre Festival and his continued support for theatre in Sharjah and across the Arab world.

Diverse Arab theatrical productions in Cairo

Al Mansour said the 16th edition of the Arab Theatre Festival in Cairo is showcasing a wide range of theatrical works from across the Arab world, competing for the His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Award for Best Arab Theatrical Work.

Cairo hosts the festival for the third time

In statements to Sharjah 24, Al Mansour noted that Cairo is hosting the festival for the third time, highlighting the strong audience engagement and appreciation of artistic creativity on Egyptian stages, alongside high attendance across the city’s theatres.

Performances and participation

The Al-Samar, Al-Salam, and Al-Jumhuriya theatres will present 14 performances during the festival, which brings together more than 700 theatre professionals from various Arab countries.
