Sharjah 24 – WAM: All consignments from the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Humanitarian Ship have reached the Gaza Strip, delivering over 7,300 tonnes of relief aid to support residents and address urgent humanitarian needs.

UAE reaffirms solidarity with Gaza

The ship underscores the UAE’s continued commitment to the Palestinian people, helping them meet basic needs, overcome hardships, and create conditions for restoring normal life.

Aid distribution underway

Since the arrival of the ship, around 40,000 families have received aid. Distribution continues through organized convoys and trucks reaching camps, shelters, and households across Gaza.

Contents of the humanitarian aid

The aid includes essential food supplies, winter clothing, tents, shelter materials, and nutritional supplements for children and women. Notably, 10 million meals are provided by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives to enhance food security.

Part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3

The humanitarian shipment departed from Khalifa Port (KIZAD) under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, reflecting the UAE’s ongoing efforts to support Palestinians and alleviate civilian suffering in Gaza.
