Sharjah24-WAM: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, received Nader Abu Shawish, Director of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, and the club’s team at the Emiri Diwan office following the club’s first-place win at the 2026 SPIA Middle East Awards, one of the region’s leading specialised sports awards.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad affirmed the Fujairah Government’s commitment to supporting and developing the sports sector by creating an environment that enhances the achievements of clubs and athletes in the emirate and strengthens competitiveness and excellence at regional and international levels.

He also highlighted the continued support for the sports sector from Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, and his keenness to develop sports infrastructure and empower national talent, contributing to the emirate’s growing presence in international sports circles.

The Crown Prince congratulated Fujairah Martial Arts Club on the achievement, describing it as a reflection of Fujairah’s sporting progress and an addition to the emirate’s record of international sporting accomplishments.

For his part, Nader Abu Shawish expressed his appreciation to the Crown Prince for his continued support and attention to the sports sector, emphasising that the achievement was the result of the leadership’s ambitious vision and sustained support.

The meeting was attended by Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, Director of the Crown Prince of Fujairah’s Office, together with members of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club team.
