Sharjah24: The National Agriculture Center, in collaboration with the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa), has launched the Agriboost Programme 2026, a national initiative to advance sustainable agriculture and strengthen food security in the UAE.

The early-stage incubation programme is open for applications from 15 January to 20 February 2026, targeting UAE-based agri-tech startups developing innovative, climate-smart agricultural solutions aligned with national priorities.

Investment access and incubation support

Agriboost 2026 will select five seed-stage agri-tech startups, each receiving support valued at AED 15,000. Selected teams will gain access to industry experts, investors, partners, customers, software perks, marketing exposure and free co-working space through Sheraa’s ecosystem. Delivered in a hybrid format, the programme focuses on go-to-market execution, revenue generation and business model innovation.

Leadership perspectives

Sultan Salem Al Shamsi, Director of the National Agriculture Center, said that Agriboost supports agricultural productivity and sector resilience through real-world testing and deployment. Sara Abdelaziz Al Nuaimi, CEO of Sheraa, said the programme strengthens the link between innovation and national agricultural priorities.
