The Emirate of Sharjah today witnessed the opening of its international real estate exhibition “ACRES 2026”, which is regarded as a strategic platform reflecting the accelerating growth of the real estate sector in the Emirate.
Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Shamsi affirmed the vitality of the real estate market in the Emirate, noting that the value of real estate transactions in 2025 reached AED 65.6 billion. The number of sales transactions amounted to 33,580, involving investors from 129 different nationalities.
Al Shamsi stated in remarks to Sharjah 24 that this year’s edition is witnessing record participation of more than 120 exhibitors from major real estate development and investment companies, including 16 developers from Sharjah. The exhibition showcases more than 200 diverse real estate projects, reflecting the strong confidence the event enjoys locally and internationally.
Al Shamsi expected the exhibition to generate sales exceeding AED 5 billion, as it brings together all market stakeholders — including investors, developers, financing entities, and government bodies — under one roof.
