Sharjah fish Resources reviews eastern region projects

sharjah24: His Excellency Ali Ahmed Abu Ghazin, Chairman of the Sharjah Fish Resources Authority, conducted an inspection visit to the eastern regions of the Emirate of Sharjah, covering a number of authority-affiliated facilities and projects in the cities of Kalba, Khorfakkan and Dibba Al Hisn.

Key facilities and projects visited

The visit included the Gargoor Factory in Kalba, attended by Engineer Abdullah Juma Al Teneiji, Director of the Branches Department at the Sharjah Department of Public Works, along with several department engineers. The tour also covered the Al Lu’lu’iya Port marinas, the authority’s branch building and ice factory in Khorfakkan, as well as the Fishermen’s Majlis and ice factory in Dibba Al Hisn.

Supporting fisheries development

The visit aimed to review progress on ongoing projects, assess the readiness of facilities and services, and monitor workflow. This supports enhanced operational efficiency, helps achieve the authority’s strategic objectives, strengthens the fisheries sector, and improves services provided to fishermen.
