His Excellency Mohammed Fadel Al Hameli, President of the National Paralympic Committee, crowned the winners and those who secured first places, with the participation of Theeban Salem Al Mehairi, Secretary-General of the National Paralympic Committee, Mohammed Al Hammadi, Executive Director of Al Thiqah Club for the Disabled, and Abdulaziz Al Hammadi, Activities Manager at Khorfakkan Club for the Disabled.
The results saw Khorfakkan Club for the Disabled top the list of clubs with the highest number of medals in both the men’s and women’s competitions across various events, with a total of 29 medals: 10 gold, 11 silver and 8 bronze. Al Thiqah Club for the Disabled came second with 19 medals (8 gold, 8 silver and 3 bronze), while Al Ain Club for People of Determination finished third after winning 18 medals (7 gold, 4 silver and 7 bronze).
Dubai Club for People of Determination won 15 medals (5 gold, 5 silver and 5 bronze), while Abu Dhabi Club for People of Determination claimed 11 medals (1 gold, 4 silver and 6 bronze). Ajman Club followed with 10 medals (3 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze), and Al Dhafra Club for People of Determination concluded its participation with two medals (one gold and one bronze).
The championship forms part of the National Paralympic Committee’s seasonal sporting calendar and aims to support the development of paralympic sport, discover talent and enhance athletes’ readiness for upcoming regional and international competitions.
The championship also represents an important milestone in the preparations of the national teams for forthcoming events, foremost among them the fifth West Asia Paralympic Games, scheduled to be held in Muscat in 2026.
