The first day of the camp saw Hamid Al Shamsi, the club's Chairman, welcoming Dr Al Desouki and the 24 participating swimmers. The young athletes engaged in a variety of activities, including a talk on sports nutrition, warm-up exercises, and training focused on improving their butterfly stroke technique and race skills.
Hamid Al Shamsi expressed his support for the camp, highlighting its role in helping swimmers from Al Hamriyah Club and other clubs across the UAE enhance their skills and learn from top-notch training experts.
Dr Mohammed Al Desouki also shared his gratitude for the club's effort in organizing the camp. He praised the swimmers' performance and explained that the goal of the camp is to help them improve both technically and physically using modern training methods.
