Sharjah 24: Petrojet Sporting Club of Egypt claimed the gold medal in the table tennis team competition at the ongoing Arab Women’s Clubs Tournament 2026, on Wednesday, finishing unbeaten across two days of intense matches. Kuwait’s Al Fatat Club secured silver, while hosts Sharjah Women’s Sports Club earned bronze.

At the end of the competition, Petrojet topped the standings with eight points, followed by Al Fatat on seven and Sharjah on six.

Five clubs competed in a single round-robin group stage over two days of matches. On February 9, Al Fatat opened the competition with a 3–0 victory over Palestine, while Petrojet began their campaign with a 3–0 win against Lebanese Nadweh Komatieh. Sharjah Women’s Sports Club followed with a 3–0 result against Palestine. Petrojet then closed the opening day with a 3–0 victory over Al Fatat to remain unbeaten.

Competition resumed on February 10 with Sharjah defeating Nadweh Komatieh 3–1. Petrojet continued their dominant run with a 3–0 win over Palestine before sealing the championship with a fourth consecutive 3–0 result against Sharjah in the decisive encounter. Nadweh Komatieh concluded the tournament with a 3–0 victory over Al Fatat.

The table tennis singles competitions at the Arab Women’s Clubs Tournament continue through February 12 as part of the wider event featuring 65 teams from 16 Arab countries competing across nine sports.
