Sharjah24: The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has launched a promotional initiative for Souq Shari’at Al Dhaid and Fili Heritage Souq as part of the 36th Sharjah Ramadan Festival 2026, which runs until 25 March under the theme “Ramadan Spirit in the Heart of Sharjah.”

The initiative aims to support newly inaugurated development projects in Sharjah’s Central Region, opened by His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and to stimulate commercial activity in Al Dhaid City and the Fili area.

Organised in collaboration with the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, Al Dhaid Municipality, Al Madam Municipality, the Authority for Initiatives Implementation “Mubadara,” and Al Wusta TV, the programme’s media partner in Al Dhaid, the programme features a mix of marketing, entertainment, and heritage events.

Integrated retail and cultural experience

The initiative reflects SCCI’s commitment to boosting economic activity in Central Region markets, enhancing their appeal as commercial and heritage destinations, supporting retailers, and increasing consumer footfall during Ramadan.

His Excellency Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of SCCI, said the initiative aligns with His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah’s strategic vision to advance development across the emirate, particularly in the Central Region, while enhancing quality of life and stimulating economic and tourism activity.

His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, Director-General of SCCI, noted that the programme translates strategic directives into practical initiatives that strengthen commercial performance and deliver an integrated shopping experience.

Raffles, prizes, and youth engagement

The initiative includes major incentives, including two four-wheel-drive vehicles and various cash and in-kind rewards. Shoppers will receive one raffle coupon for every AED 100 spent, with draws scheduled during Eid Al-Fitr in both Al Dhaid and Fili.

The programme also features a social media contest for the best festival coverage, alongside the “Young Influencer” event, where children will provide live coverage through on-the-spot filming, interviews, quizzes, and prize distributions, in partnership with Al Wusta TV.
