Second late Abdul Rahim Jani Ramadan Tournament inaugurated

Sharjah 24: His Excellency Mohammed Jumaa bin Hindi officially inaugurated the second edition of the Abdulrahim Jani Memorial Football Tournament, following the first edition held last Ramadan. The tournament commemorates the legacy of the late Abdulrahim Jani, a celebrated figure in Emirati football and a key icon of Sharjah FC.

Ceremony highlights and attendees

The inauguration ceremony was attended by prominent figures including Ibrahim Saleh Sambij, Chairman of Sharjah FC Company; Rashid Albas, Vice Chairman; and company members Abdulmajid Al Nimr and Reda Abbas. Former UAE national team and Sharjah FC star Ibrahim Mir also joined the event. The ceremony reflected an atmosphere of loyalty and appreciation for Jani’s contributions to Emirati football.
