Sharjah municipalities hold Ramadan gathering to boost cooperation

Sharjah24: The Department of Municipal Affairs in Sharjah organised a Ramadan gathering and iftar attended by His Excellency Sultan Mohammed bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Department of Municipal Affairs, His Excellency Sheikh Eng. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Qasimi, Director of the Department, heads of municipal councils, directors-general and directors of municipalities across Sharjah, alongside municipal secretaries and other officials and staff.

Religious dialogue

The programme featured a religious discussion by Sheikh Dr Abdullah Mohammed Al Hammadi, focusing on the values of compassion, solidarity, and their role in fostering social responsibility, collaboration, and giving.

Strengthening municipal coordination

His Excellency Sultan Mohammed bin Huweidan Al Ketbi emphasised that the gathering strengthens coordination, builds effective communication bridges between the Department and municipal councils, and ensures unified visions to achieve qualitative improvements in municipal performance, aligning operational plans with Sharjah’s strategic goals.
