Sharjah lifts truck ban on main roads

The goal of the move is to control the movement of heavy vehicles and improve traffic flow on some of the emirate's main roads.

Authorities said the measure will support the logistics sector and help facilitate smoother mobility while maintaining road safety standards.

The authority urged truck drivers and transport companies to follow traffic regulations and road signage and to cooperate with the relevant authorities to ensure smooth traffic movement and the safety of all road users.
