Dr Al Doubi explained that the final ten nights are the peak of the blessed month and the most significant time for devotion and spiritual effort in a Muslim’s life.
He described the last ten nights as the “jewel that adorns Ramadan,” noting that Muslims intensify acts of worship and draw closer to God during these days because of the immense spiritual rewards they carry.
The period is especially important because it includes Laylat Al Qadr (the Night of Decree), which the Quran describes as better than a thousand months.
Dr Al Doubi cited the example of Prophet Muhammad, who dedicated himself more fervently to worship during the last ten nights of Ramadan than at any other time in the month.
He cited narrations reported by Aisha bint Abi Bakr, who said the Prophet would stay awake at night in prayer and encourage his family to engage in acts of worship.
Dr Al Doubi highlighted that the last ten nights offer believers a precious chance to reflect on their deeds and make up for any missed acts of worship earlier in the month.
He encouraged Muslims to make the most of these nights through night prayers, Quran recitation, supplication, charity, and acts of kindness, emphasising their role in purifying the soul and strengthening faith.
He concluded by emphasising that ending Ramadan with sincerity and devotion is among the greatest goals for Muslims, describing the last ten nights as a golden opportunity to conclude the holy month with worship, goodness, and blessings.
