Sharjah prioritises family stability to build cohesive society

Sharjah24: Moza Al Shehi, Director of the Family Guidance Department at the Sharjah Family Development (SFD), stated that the SFD’s vision focuses on building a cohesive family and a united society. The foundation aims to support national policies at the state level through a legislative and strategic framework that ensures the delivery of higher-quality and distinguished services to citizens.

She explained that the foundation also submits legislative recommendations and proposals to support policies and directions that serve all members of society, noting that Sharjah is officially recognised as a child and family friendly emirate.

Comprehensive family guidance services

Al Shehi added, in statements to Sharjah 24, that the foundation provides several services, including family guidance that encompasses psychological, educational, social, economic, and legal consultations. The foundation also conducts studies and research by presenting specialised research that monitors the most significant challenges within society at an early stage.

Al Shehi added that, under the directives of Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, the foundation places family stability at the forefront of its priorities, while working in cooperation with various institutions across Sharjah to promote a safe, stable, and cohesive society.

Cooperation to support family well-being

She further noted that the foundation works in cooperation and integration with other institutions across the emirate to achieve a safe and stable life and ensure the well-being of all family members in Sharjah.
