The basket includes 12 essential food and beverage items, carefully selected to meet the needs of families during Ramadan. Company employees took part in a volunteer initiative to pack the food baskets, reflecting a culture of giving, teamwork, and shared responsibility within the workplace.
The initiative is implemented in collaboration with the Sharjah Charity Association, which oversees the distribution of the baskets to eligible families, ensuring that support reaches its beneficiaries efficiently and in an organised manner.
Salim Al Midfa, CEO of the Corporate Communications Department & Customer Experience Sector at Sharjah Asset Management, said: “This initiative reflects our firm commitment to supporting various segments of the community and embodies the values of giving, solidarity, and cooperation that the Holy Month of Ramadan reinforces—values that are deeply rooted in the UAE’s society. We believe that empowering our employees to actively participate in humanitarian initiatives strengthens a shared culture of social responsibility and contributes to creating a sustainable impact that benefits the community as a whole.”
Al Midfa added:“The company remains committed throughout the year to launching and implementing impactful initiatives that enhance its community presence and support sustainable development. Through effective strategic partnerships, we aim to serve different segments of society and reinforce our role as a responsible partner in development.”
