Since the start of the blatant Iranian aggressions, UAE air defences have dealt with a total of 334 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1,714 drones.
These attacks resulted in the martyrdom of two members of the Armed Forces while performing their national duty, as well as the deaths of six civilians of Pakistani, Nepalese, Bangladeshi and Palestinian nationalities. A further 158 people sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate and severe, including UAE nationals and individuals of Egyptian, Sudanese, Ethiopian, Filipino, Pakistani, Iranian, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Azerbaijani, Yemeni, Ugandan, Eritrean, Lebanese, Afghan, Bahraini, Comorian, Turkish, Iraqi, Nepalese, Nigerian, Omani, Jordanian, Palestinian, Ghanaian, Indonesian, Swedish and Tunisian nationalities.
The Ministry of Defence affirmed that it remains on high alert and fully prepared to address any threats, and will respond decisively to any attempts to undermine the country’s security, ensuring the protection of its sovereignty, stability, national interests and capabilities.
