Mohammed Saleh Al Ali, Member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of Team Sports at the club, extended his congratulations to the club’s chairman and board members following the achievement, praising the system of work that guided both teams to victory.
Speaking to “Sharjah 24”, Al Ali also congratulated Mohammed Juma bin Hindi, Chairman of Sharjah Sports Club, along with the board, the club’s handball community, players and supporters after both the senior and youth teams secured the title in the 2025–2026 season.
He commended the performance and spirit shown by both sides, noting that they clinched the title with a perfect record, one round before the competition’s conclusion. He emphasised that winning this particular tournament—featuring players across all age groups—highlighted the club’s comprehensive excellence across the organisational, administrative, and technical levels.
Al Ali added that such success comes as no surprise given the long-standing legacy of Sharjah’s handball programme, built over generations and successive administrations.
He also praised the continued support and close oversight of the Sharjah Sports Council, led by Sheikh Dr Khalid bin Humaid Al Qasimi, and its Secretary-General Mohammed Obaid Al Hossan.
Finally, he expressed his gratitude to all those involved in Sharjah handball, encompassing the administrative, technical, media, and support staff. Their dedication has been instrumental in maintaining the sport's success and in achieving its objectives.
