The foundation also worked on monitoring the distance learning process for the affiliated students to ensure the ease of continuing their educational journey within the framework of the “Teach with a Pen” project, which supports the education of children, as the need of approximately 200 students for distance learning devices was observed. The necessary measures were taken to provide the required support to ensure the continuity of their academic progress and to overcome any challenges they might face during this period.
Mona bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Foundation, confirmed: "Monitoring the situation of families in such circumstances is a humanitarian and institutional priority, stemming from our mission to empower orphaned children and their families and enhance their quality of life," noting that the work teams have begun implementing rapid response plans to support affected families. I contacted the affected families directly to assess their needs, reflecting our ongoing commitment to supporting children and their families in all circumstances.
Al Suwaidi added: Supporting students in continuing their education is a key focus of her efforts, as communication and follow-up channels have been activated to ensure the continuity of distance learning, and to provide the necessary guidance and support to families and students. This reflects the institution's commitment to empowering students academically and ensuring the stability of their educational journey, regardless of the challenges.
The foundation reaffirms its commitment to continuing to provide its services and programmes according to flexible plans that respond to changes, ensuring a sustainable impact on the lives of the children under its care and their families, and promoting the values of solidarity and social responsibility in the face of various circumstances.
