Sharjah24: Dibba Al Hisn Municipality announced the completion of efforts to address the effects of recent unstable weather conditions, confirming that intensive operations and coordinated efforts—supported by community cooperation—helped safeguard lives and property, restore traffic flow, and return the city to its best condition.

The municipality confirmed that specialised field teams worked around the clock, deployed according to well-structured plans across key locations and areas most prone to gathered water. Operations were supported by a fleet of modern machinery, tankers, and pumps dedicated to rapid water removal and immediate response.

Preparedness ensured rapid response

Work teams were fully prepared from the start of the weather conditions, with dedicated committees formed in advance and trained teams handling reports and public feedback. Crews successfully drained rainwater from streets and cleared fallen trees caused by strong winds, ensuring public safety and service continuity.

Post-weather recovery and city cleanup

Following the end of the weather event, municipal teams continued efforts to clean the city, remove debris, and restore normal traffic flow. These efforts demonstrated strong coordination between teams and organisations, as well as positive community cooperation that sped up recovery operations.

His Excellency Taleb Abdullah Al Yahyai stated that the integrated response to the rainfall exemplifies a model of preparedness and efficiency, highlighting the teams’ swift response, high performance, and well-structured execution.

He added that the achievements were the result of teamwork and community support, reaffirming the municipality’s commitment to enhancing readiness, improving operations, and raising the quality of life in accordance with the vision of Sharjah Government.
