Al-Tarifi forms AQU Board of Trustees

Sharjah 24: Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, His Excellency Jamal Salem Al-Tarifi, President of Al Qasimia University (AQU), issued Decision No. (2) of 2025/2026 regarding the formation of the Board of Trustees of Al Qasimia University.
The decision stipulates that the Board of Trustees of Al Qasimia University, in its new term, shall be chaired by His Excellency Jamal Salem Al-Tarifi, President of AQU, and its members shall include: Professor Dr Awad Al-Khalaf, Chancellor of Al Qasimia University; Counselor Dr Mansour Muhammad bin Nassar, Legal Advisor and Head of the Legal Department of the Government of Sharjah, Member of Sharjah Executive Council (SEC); Dr Eng Khalifa Musbeh Al-Tunaiji, Chairman of the Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah, Head of the Department of Agriculture and Livestock, Member of SEC; Muhammad Obaid Rashid Al Shamsi, Director General of the Sharjah Social Security Fund; Dr Khawla Abdulrahman Al Mulla, Former Chairman of the Family Affairs Authority; Dr Aziz Farhan Al Anzi, Professor of Islamic Jurisprudence and its Foundations; Dr Muhammad Safi Al Mustaghani, Secretary-General of the Arabic Language Academy in the Emirate of Sharjah; Dr Salem Muhammad Al Doubi, Director of the Religious Guidance Department at the Department of Islamic Affairs in the Emirate of Sharjah and Professor Dr Qutb Al Raisouni, Dean of the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies at the University of Sharjah.
 
The decision stipulates that membership in the Council is for a three-year term, renewable, commencing from its first meeting. The Council will continue to conduct its business until a new Council is formed, and members whose terms have expired may be reappointed. This decision is effective from the date of its issuance, and all relevant authorities are required to implement it within their respective jurisdictions.
