AQU honoured with award at Intl Education Conference in Vietnam

Sharjah 24: Al Qasimia University (AQU) received the “Outstanding Contribution to Community Development” award from the British Accreditation Body ASIC during the International Education Conference 2025, held in Vietnam on October 15 and 16, 2025. This recognition acknowledges the university’s efforts in designing and implementing sustainable initiatives that have a tangible positive impact at the local, regional, and international levels.

Excellence in academic and administrative performance

In this context, His Excellency Professor Dr Awad Al Khalaf, Chancellor of AQU, explained that this achievement is a culmination of the efforts of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, the founder of Al Qasimia University, who laid its foundations on firm scientific and humanitarian principles.

Al Khalaf added that this award represents a qualitative addition to the university’s record in the areas of accreditation and quality, as the university obtained international institutional accreditation from the British Accreditation Authority ASIC with the Premier Institution rating for the period 2025–2029, which is an accreditation granted to institutions that demonstrate excellence in academic and administrative performance and a clear commitment to continuous improvement and community service.
