Sharjah24 - WAM: ADNOC has received 14 awards at the Oil & Gas Middle East Awards 2026 in Dubai, highlighting the reliability, resilience and excellence of its people and operations.

The company’s achievement of nearly half the total awards underscores its position as a leading and progressive global energy company, as well as the significant growth and transformation it has achieved in recent years.

Recognition across operations and innovation

Awards were presented to employees and projects across the ADNOC Group, recognising strong performance throughout the energy value chain, operational excellence, successful deployment of advanced technologies and artificial intelligence (AI), and responsible energy production.

They also reflect strong leadership, workforce empowerment, and continued progress in safety, decarbonisation, and the execution of major projects.

Broad capabilities across integrated portfolio

Covering upstream, downstream, technical, digital, and support functions, the awards demonstrate the depth of expertise across ADNOC’s integrated portfolio.

Leadership statement

Musabbeh Al Kaabi, CEO of ADNOC Upstream, said the awards highlight the exceptional people, projects, and operations that drive ADNOC’s reliability, resilience, and long-term value creation. He dedicated the recognition to frontline employees and UAE frontline workers who ensure operational continuity.

Driving growth through technology and investment

Recognition from Oil & Gas Middle East reflects ADNOC’s decades of disciplined investment, long-term planning, strong project execution, and value creation, alongside its use of advanced technologies, AI, and robotics to support future growth and expansion.

Key individual and project awards

Among the major winners, Dr Ahmed Mohamed Alebri, CEO of ADNOC Onshore, received the Operational Excellence Leader of the Year award, while ADNOC Offshore won the Industry Voice Award.

Alyaziya Alkaabi of ADNOC Sour Gas received the Unsung Hero Award, while Samar Al-Hameedi, Vice President of Climate Change at ADNOC, was named Sustainability Advocate of the Year. Basma Al Bishr of ADNOC Offshore won the Rising Energy Star Award, and Shamma Al Shehhi received the Energy Woman of the Year award.

Project and innovation achievements

The Workforce Empowerment Award was awarded to ITQAN, ADNOC Offshore Future Ready National Talent Accelerator, while Borouge won the Shutdown & Turnaround Excellence of the Year award.

ADNOC Gas received the Energy Transition Project of the Year award for its CO₂ Recovery & Injection (CRI) project, and ADNOC Sour Gas won the Energy Innovator of the Year award for SRU Energy Optimisation.

The Decarbonisation Strategy Award went to ADNOC’s Carbon Management Framework, while ADNOC Onshore won the Exploration Project of the Year for its UAE Unconventional Exploration Fast-Track Programme.

ADNOC also received the Innovation in Action Award for its world-first hybrid EOR technology deployment, while ADNOC Offshore’s Imtithal HSE Assurance Programme was recognised with the HSE Champion of the Year award.
