The private event transformed the landscape into a vivid expression of the brand, featuring a runway debut collection, a multisensory Chamber of Inanna experience, and a curated display of pieces from the collection at the Caravan.
It was a dusk moment that signalled the birth of a new category – Mythic Luxury – where couture is an expression of memory, ritual and personal transformation.
Founded by Her Highness Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Inanna Reborn was created after years of research into Arabian queens and mythology that inspired her recent book, Let Them Know She Is Here.
The brand is founded on the singular truth that women’s power is generational, resides deep within their soul, and is remembered rather than uncovered.
Each design embodies this philosophy through form, reviving forgotten histories and reimagining them as contemporary expressions of female sovereignty, identity, and lucid presence.
Her Highness Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi said: “Inanna Reborn is not about creating something new, but restoring what was always there but forgotten. What we are doing with Inanna Reborn is offering a votive tribute of remembrance and inviting women to remember and reclaim their sovereign power.”
The setting at Mleiha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was essential to the Inanna Reborn launch, reflecting the brand’s roots in land, memory, and ritual, through:
Together, these elements embodied the brand’s core principle of personal adornment as a meaningful ritual.
Azizi Developments supported the launch event, showcasing its dedication to cultural and creative innovation in the UAE.
BYREDO and Dr Barbara Sturm supplied makeup, fragrance, and skincare for the runway presentation, enhancing the sensory experience.
Inanna Reborn is designed as a revival of identity, with its aesthetics inspired by the vibrant legacies of historical queens such as Zenobia, Sheba, Mavia, Samsi, and Abi’el, reflected through silhouettes that transition from strength to fluidity.
Garments are designed as modern adornments that balance softness and structure, presence and movement, power and sensuality.
Alongside the fashion capsule, the brand unveiled its first jewellery line: Abi’el – The Desert Oath.
Rooted in Emirati heritage, Abi’el redefines traditional adornment through a contemporary lens.
The collection is designed to move in harmony with the body, not as fixed objects, but as worn vessels rich with memory and intention.
At its core, Inanna Reborn is a dedication to safeguarding endangered artisanal knowledge.
The collection features techniques such as Ikat weaving, Kantha and Phulkari embroidery, Shibori dyeing, hand block printing, and Pashmina craftsmanship.
These are not trivial references, but living cultural idioms maintained through direct collaboration with artisans.
The brand operates through a slow, deliberate model without overproduction or excess, using only natural materials such as linen, cotton, and wool, with minimal waste, where every offcut is repurposed or reintegrated.
As Inanna Reborn, sustainability means returning to responsible creation, respecting materials and revering the natural environment.
