MoE delays school bus services as in-person classes resume

The ministry confirmed that in-person learning will resume for all students, teaching and administrative staff on Monday, April 20, 2026, after the completion of readiness plans.

Preparations included ensuring the readiness of school facilities, training educational and administrative staff, and updating safety and security procedures to provide a safe, reassuring learning environment for students and families.

The ministry noted that private schools will have the flexibility to implement a hybrid learning model as needed, in line with approved regulations and under the supervision of local education authorities.

The measures aim to ensure a smooth and safe return to in-person education while maintaining operational flexibility in line with each institution’s readiness level.
