UAE and Albania discuss stronger ties and regional stability

Strengthening UAE–Albania relations

The two sides discussed ways to further develop bilateral relations across key sectors, including the economy, trade, renewable energy, and technology, in a manner that serves mutual interests and benefits both peoples. They also reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening ties and expanding development partnerships to support sustainable economic growth.

Regional and global issues discussed

The meeting also reviewed regional developments and their impact on security, stability, maritime safety, and the global economy.

Condemnation of attacks and diplomatic stance

Both His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Excellency Edi Rama, addressed recent Iranian terrorist attacks targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure in the UAE and other countries in the region. The Albanian Prime Minister reiterated Albania’s condemnation of these attacks, stating they violate international law and threaten regional stability.
