Substitute Fábio Silva added the fourth late in the match (87’).
The victory ensured Dortmund’s place in next season’s UEFA Champions League, with the team now aiming to secure second place in the standings.
Beier, named man of the match, said the qualification was a “great feeling” and praised the team’s performance and atmosphere.
Dortmund moved to 67 points, sitting behind champions Bayern Munich, who had already secured the title.
They now hold a five-point advantage over RB Leipzig in third place, and a ten-point gap over VfB Stuttgart and TSG Hoffenheim in fourth and fifth.
