Sharjah 24 – (WAM) – His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, in the presence of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, reviewed the progress of a new UAE government framework project aimed at transforming 50% of government sectors and services within two years through agentic AI for autonomous execution and decision-making.

UAE government pushes AI integration into services

Sheikh Mohammed said integrating AI into government work is a strategic priority for the next phase, aligning with the vision of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He noted that AI is now being used to design programmes and policies, develop solutions, deliver services, and support decision-making around the clock to improve efficiency and service quality.

Progress briefing on Agentic AI government project

He was briefed by Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi on the project’s progress, alongside Omar Sultan Al Olama and senior officials. The initiative aims to convert half of government processes into agentic AI systems capable of independent task execution and decision-making.

Enhancing efficiency and digital government transformation

The project seeks to streamline procedures, speed up service delivery, and improve decision accuracy through integrated federal data and advanced digital infrastructure, while strengthening national AI capabilities and reinforcing the UAE’s leadership in people-centred, technology-driven governance.
