The two-year programme combines academic study with practical application, focusing on integrated maritime operations, maritime logistics management, operational efficiency, safety and compliance, smart port technologies and sustainable maritime practices.

Sharjah Maritime Academy continues to strengthen its position through a growing network of local and international academic and professional accreditations. The academy operates under the accreditation of the Academic Accreditation Commission of the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and has also secured several specialised institutional accreditations and certifications.
The academy recently obtained new international accreditations for its bachelor’s degree programmes from Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST) and Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), reflecting its commitment to delivering academic programmes aligned with the highest international standards in maritime transport, engineering and logistics.
The programme is aimed at professionals working in the maritime sector, specialists in ports and logistics services, engineers seeking to specialise in maritime operations, as well as employees in relevant government and regulatory bodies.
