Sharjah24: Dr Meni Bouanama, Director of the Content and Publishing Department at the Sharjah Institute for Heritage (SIH), announced that the SIH Publications Exhibition features more than 1,200 diverse titles covering both tangible and intangible cultural heritage.
Director of the Content and Publishing Department at the SIH, affirmed that the institute is marking its publications through a permanent exhibition at the Arab Heritage Centre, affiliated with the institute. He noted that the exhibition aims to display the institute’s publications in their entirety, including cultural heritage works, dictionaries and encyclopaedias, publication series, specialised studies, magazines, institute news, and Al Mourooth magazine.
Bouanama added, in statements to “Sharjah 24”, that the exhibition features a selection of important titles that take readers and visitors on a journey through the worlds of cultural heritage, translated from various languages including English, French, Spanish, and others. He explained that the exhibition presents a diverse collection celebrating heritage through illustrations, landmarks, themes, ideas, and documentation, with the aim of enriching and entertaining visitors while providing rich and valuable material that serves as an essential resource for researchers in the field.
