Sharjah Sports Club ready to defend Asian handball title

Sharjah 24: His Excellency Mohammed Juma bin Hindi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sharjah Sports Club, confirmed that the club’s men’s handball team is ready to defend its Asian title and is aiming to achieve a new accomplishment. This came during a special press conference organised ahead of the club’s participation in the 28th Asian Men’s Club League Handball Championship, held at the club’s hall as part of the media campaign launched under the slogan “A Champion’s Story Never Ends”.

Special press conference ahead of Asian participation

Mohammed Juma bin Hindi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sharjah Sports Club, stated that the club organised a special press conference regarding the participation of the men’s handball team in the 28th edition of the Asian Men’s Club League Handball Championship. The conference was held at the club’s hall as part of the media campaign launched under the slogan “A Champion’s Story Never Ends”.

Preparations and aspirations for a new Asian title

Bin Hindi explained in statements to “Sharjah 24” that the conference was attended by the administrative and technical staff, along with a number of the team’s players, with the aim of reviewing the preparations of Sharjah, the reigning champions, and discussing the team’s aspirations to continue achieving success and secure a new Asian title during the upcoming championship.

Efforts despite exceptional circumstances

He pointed out that the handball collective games management had made great efforts in preparation for this participation despite the exceptional circumstances currently being witnessed in the region, stressing that this reflects the spirit of challenge and determination among the team’s players to achieve a new accomplishment in line with the ambitions of the wise leadership in the UAE and the Emirate of Sharjah.

Appreciation for Sharjah Ruler’s support

Bin Hindi also extended his highest thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, praising His Highness’s unlimited support for all club departments and various sports activities.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sharjah Sports Club concluded his statement by wishing the men’s handball team success in its Asian campaign, expressing his confidence in the team’s ability to win the championship and add a new achievement that will delight the fans and supporters of Sharjah Club.
