Sharjah 24: With the aim of developing joint efforts and strengthening cooperation to serve common goals, Al Suyoh Suburb Council of the Sharjah Districts and Villages Affairs Department and the Sharjah Institute for Heritage (SIH) discussed joint cooperation aspects to implement joint initiatives that support awareness and education programmes, preserve heritage and pass it on to generations.
This came during the meeting that brought together Al Suyoh Suburb Council and the SIH at the council's headquarters. The joint organisation to host the council at its headquarters, the Blessing of Heritage initiative, was discussed during the period from the fourteenth to the fifteenth of this month of June.
The initiative is one of the programmes that come to achieve the strategic goals within the Sharjah Age Friendly City programme.
