Nouf Al Ali, in charge of the Physical and Occupational Therapy Department of the SCHS, confirmed the city’s keenness to enhance health awareness among its members and their families through educational lectures and seminars.
She told “Sharjah 24” that the dialogue session on arthritis in SCHS -Khorfakkan branch saw the participation of an elite group of female specialists who elaborated the concept of arthritis, how it can affect the quality of life, and the wrong practices that can cause the disease.
Al Ali pointed out that the participants came up with a number of important and purposeful recommendations to enhance awareness of healthy eating and exercise patterns for different age groups to prevent and confront arthritis.
