Dhaiban Salem Al-Muhairi, the Secretary-General of the UAE National Paralympic Committee, affirmed that the fourth edition of the West Asia Para Games, held at Al-Thiqa Club under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, is still witnessing great excitement.
Al-Muhairi added that the UAE team has achieved positive and remarkable results so far, with 64 colorful medals before the end of the competitions. The competitions are still ongoing for athletics and the wheelchair basketball team, which will face the Iraqi team in the final match.
The Secretary-General of the UAE National Paralympic Committee extended his thanks and appreciation to the organizing committee and the West Asia Federation for their uninterrupted efforts in organizing this prominent event held in the Emirate of Sharjah.
