Sharjah24: The first Outstanding Sports Family Award (OSFA) was introduced by Dibba Al Hisn Sports Club during the National Sports Day activities to promote healthy and active lifestyles among families. The award attracted several Emirati sports families living in Dibba Al-Hisn city, aiming to encourage healthy living and strengthen loyalty and belonging among its members.
After evaluating the families and setting criteria, the club revealed the families that won. The event, which took place at the First Cultural Sports Forum in Dibba Al-Hisn, included the recognition of the winning families.
Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Mutawa, Chairman of the Organising Committee of the First Cultural Sports Forum in Dibba Al Hisn and Chairman of Dibba Al Hisn Sports Club, highlighted that the victorious families are role models for all athletes, offering inspiration to those looking to display their athletic abilities.
Commenting on this, He explained that the award was meant to focus on families as the central unit of society, drawing in all community members and emphasising the important role that sports play in communities.
