Throughout the year, the association organizes several campaigns under this project, providing an opportunity for individuals from low-income backgrounds to fulfill their longstanding dream of performing Umrah, a journey that has often been out of reach due to financial constraints.
In this context, Mohammed bin Nassar, Director of Corporate Communications and Marketing at the SCI, explained that the campaign will feature modern buses that will transport the pilgrims from the UAE to Medina and then to Mecca for their rituals. The entire trip is set to last around 10 days, with Sharjah Charity ensuring a well-rounded travel program that covers overnight accommodations and all necessary amenities for the pilgrims until their return to the UAE.
He emphasised that this campaign is part of the association's broader efforts to support low-income individuals, offering them a chance to engage in these sacred rituals. The project not only aims to enhance the spiritual well-being and mental comfort of the participants but also serves as a token of appreciation for their hard work and dedication to environmental care. This initiative reflects a strong commitment to community social responsibility and the depth of collaboration involved in this charitable endeavor.
